Homeless Services Program
| The Homeless Services Program, which is located at the Howarth Center, offers a variety of services to anyone in our community who is homeless or in a housing crisis. This program is often the first step for anyone in need who is trying to find a solution to their situation. | ![]() The Howarth Center 615 North 18th Street in Lafayette |
Each client has a case manager that works hand-in-hand on ways to overcome their homelessness. The goals of the program are to increase skills and income, to teach people how to live independently, and to find permanent affordable housing. All clients that utilize services must be working with a case manager. This allows us to ensure that our clients are moving toward their own personal goals.
We offer a variety of supportive services on-site, including: phone/mail services, shower and laundry facilities, day sleep room, meal preparation (breakfast, lunch and dinner), limited financial assistance, gas vouchers and bus tokens, client choice food pantry, clothing room, and other needed services.
